Paris is in its repertoire. The collections shown in the fashion capital, as always, are distinguished by a special Parisian chic. Dior, Balenciaga, Chloe, Hermes and others showed their developments for the upcoming Spring-Summer 2022 season, which combined:

Creative Director of Balenciaga Demna Gvasalia (he is also the creator of the Vetements brand) is generally distinguished by a love of experiments, but this time he surprised. No, not a new collection, but its presentation. Instead of the traditional walking on the catwalk, the designer presented outfits on the red carpet, and in the finale showed a special episode of The Simpsons, in which Marge asks Demna for at least a tag or a piece of his dress.
As for the outfits at paris fashion week - you can't exactly call them ordinary, although the overall palette of the collection is restrained. What is worth one outfit with a closed face, similar to the one that Kim Kardashian wore at the Met Gala 2021 only in a male version.
In general, extremes are observed in the collection - either tight clothes, or pronounced oversize.
There were hints of lingerie style, notes of classics and several feminine models.
Valentino decided not to limit himself to the palette and collected in the collection all the color options - basic, muted, neon, saturated. If you look at the collection in general, it turns out quite logically - the overall calm color scheme and bright accents.
Styles, as a palette, are difficult to unequivocally characterize - along with simple, classic styles, bold asymmetry, avant-garde, exaggerated details of clothing - shoulders, sleeves, waist - appeared.
You can watch the full recording of the show in the video below.
I was pleased with the boldness of the collection of Nina Ritchie, made not only in mainly bright shades, but also with a huge variety of cutouts, cuts, styles.

Interestingly, with all the avant-garde, the collection remained feminine. Almost all outfits emphasized the beauty of the female body. Somewhere a streamlined silhouette helped, somewhere a playful neckline.

At the Paris Fashion Week, the Loewe brand clearly stood out, thanks to an interesting geometric collection of clothes. Contrary to the accepted understanding of geometry, designers went further and used strange shapes for outfits - both angular and more streamlined.

It is impossible to call the collection avant-garde, but a touch of abstraction is definitely present in it.

Chloé decided not to deviate from the usual principles and showed the public a romantic, feminine collection, consisting mainly of dresses and skirts.
@chloe
There is a new trend in Chloé clothes – an abundance of décor. Fringe, embroidery, weaving - this adorned the brand's models.

The accent in some outfits were seashells, reminding of the past summer and embodying a new warm season.

Isabel Marant bet on light fabrics - this is logical, because the collection is timed to the spring-summer 2022 season. Almost every outfit was accompanied by a flying top, cape or shorts, or consisted entirely of airy material.

The abundance of holographic fabric and metallic was also noted - many models of clothing were supplemented with either such a bag or an accessory.
@isabelmarant
The brand itself admits that it based the new collection of clothes with a hint of the 90s, which manifested itself in low-seated trousers and jackets.

Balmain Creative Director Olivier Rousting is set to upgrade. A touch of rebellion, a minimum of clothes, gold jewelry and bandages.

At the end of the show, star guests in the person of Naomi Campbell, Natalia Vodianova and other celebrities showed new dresses - from extreme mini to maxi.

Saint Laurent decided to adhere to the usual rules and principles. The fashion house provided a collection of strict, understandable outfits in the style of chic. Some things can be integrated into business or casual, but together it is definitely about luxury.

But the collection is still spring-summer, which means there must have been something reminiscent of this. The symbol of nature awakening from sleep were large flowers.

While others are experimenting with silhouettes, shapes and cuts, Dior designers decided not to reinvent the wheel and show simple geometry.
@dior
The new collection perfectly balances on the verge between simplicity and grace – as Christian Dior bequeathed.

Pay special attention to the palette - the fashion house definitely decided to please others with bright colors in the coming spring. Green, blue, orange and yellow have become the bright accents of this collection.

In addition to the brands and fashion houses described, Paris Fashion Week was visited by other well-known brands. Hermes this time surprised with the depth of elaboration of details – almost every thing contained rings, laces, belts and other accents.
@hermes
Acne rushed into experiments with fabrics and their combination - knitting, leather, knitwear. It looks bold, but isn't that courage and originality now the main trend?

Elie Saab for the color accent chose the red color beautiful, light, romantic dresses of different lengths and cuts - what you need for the spring-summer season.
Fashion Week is over, but fashion designers are already working new collections, which will be shown in February at the next shows. In the meantime, we make a shopping list and think about what to look like next spring.
