History of maritime style

Maritime style, as a direction in clothing for ordinary people who have nothing to do with the sea, originates from the reign of the Queen of Great Britain - Victoria. Once a woman dressed her son in a sailor's costume, and from that moment the navy costume began to gradually take root in the ranks of residents of different countries. In the late 19th and early 20th century, the marine theme became so popular that every parent of secular society was simply obliged to have in the child's wardrobe clothes in the marine style. Adults then used navy suits less often - the dress code did not allow, but towards the end of the 20th century, the navy style of clothing became a specific direction suitable for both children and adults. An important role in the formation was played by Coco Chanel, who led an active lifestyle and quickly adapted the vest for everyday wear. Characteristics

• Thematic prints. The main print is a horizontal stripe. There are also anchors, waves, nets, but it is the strip that is an integral attribute.
