A basic and minimalist wardrobe can exist together – things go well together. It is the base that is easiest to turn into minimalism by adding details:

Let's start with the dresses. In the photo below is a basic midi-length dress of a simple cut, restrained color. Minimalism or base? Base! The dress has neither asymmetry nor necklines, which means that it cannot be attributed to minimalism.

But a similar model - all the same midi length, a calm beige color, but the neckline on the back turns the dress into a minimalist one. At the same time, pay attention to the fact that a minimalist dress also looks restrained, simple, not vulgar.
The basic black dress is a simple cut, the right fit, no provocative cutouts and unnecessary details.
And this is a black dress in the style of minimalism - there is both layering and interesting cutouts, while the model itself is simple, straight, without accessories and trim.
In the photo on the left, a basic black dress with long sleeves is perfect for an autumn wardrobe. On the right is also black, also with long sleeves, but the neckline in the shoulder area turns this model into a minimalist one.
To complicate matters: on the left is a white shirt dress, a straight cut is the basic model. On the right - everything is similar, but pay attention to the length in front and behind - this is a manifestation of asymmetry, and a simple cut in combination with asymmetrical details turns the thing into a minimalist.
A sleeveless knitted top is a great thing for a basic wardrobe.
And an asymmetrical top on one shoulder is an option for a minimalist one.

What's the base without classic jeans? Here they are - straight cut, without finishing, scuffs, rhinestones.
In a minimalist wardrobe, you can also include jeans - just choose an unusual model, for example, with a double waist.

Shoes in the style of minimalism are called white sneakers or boats, but this is all the base. Minimalism is characterized by eccentric shoes, flip-flops, boots.
Let's start with ballet flats. On the left are classic black ballet flats that will complement your bows from the basic wardrobe. On the right is a slightly strangely shaped model with a square nose – and this is a real minimalism.
A similar situation with ankle boots - on the one hand, a lacquered model with rounded noses, on the other - minimalistic with square ones.
Basic trousers or skirt look stylish with clear, simple sandals with stable heels, streamlined shape. A minimalistic wardrobe will be complemented by "naked" sandals with a square cape.
The basic bag is elegant, simple, understandable in shape. The color is usually black, gray or white, but there are, of course, color options.
Minimalist bags stand out again – they, like other wardrobe items, are a little strange, to some they may even seem ugly.
