Vetements, from French clothing is a young brand founded in 2014. The idea to create a trademark belongs to Demna and Guram Gvasalia. Despite such a short fashion path, a couple of years after the launch of the first collection of clothes, the brand was called the most influential in the world of modern fashion.
Probably, the success was affected by the experience of the founders - Demna participated in the creation of collections for Marc Jacobs and Loius Vuitton. In 2015, Demna became the creative director of the fashion house Balenciaga. 
During the existence of Vetements, the brand itself and its founders have repeatedly been at the center of discussions, and not always positive. In 2018, after paris Fashion Week, where Vetements showed a men's collection, the fashion world literally spun at the temple – so non-standard were the models. 
A year after Demna's departure from Vetements in 2019, a scandal broke out again. This time between Vetements and Balenciaga, where Demna remains creative director. Vetements accused the fashion house of plagiarism. True, the public did not succumb to provocations - it is very likely that the brothers decided to simply draw attention to the companies.
When creating clothes, the designers of the brand do not try to create elegant images. Their goal is to make things convenient for city streets. Pretentious fittings or expensive details are not used - the models are simple, but at the same time bright and attract attention.
